Israel has opened its first-ever national pavilion at the Marrakech Air Show in Morocco, showcasing weapons and military technologies produced by eight Israeli defence companies, including Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael. The exhibition, running from October 7 to 10, features technologies described by Israel as “combat-proven,” amid continuing international scrutiny of the Israeli genocide in Gaza. The move comes as Morocco deepens diplomatic and defence ties with Israel despite widespread pro-Palestinian protests opposing normalization and expressing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
