International Criminal Court President Tomoko Akane said on Friday that US sanctions on the institution attack international law and warned that "we'll be judged by history for the choices we make today". Akane's comments followed the Trump administration's decision to impose sanctions on the ICC just hours after one of its founding judges received the Nobel Peace Prize. The measures follow earlier sanctions against half of the court's 18 judges and much of its leadership, including its president and chief prosecutor, in response to its 2024 arrest warrants for Israeli leaders. @middleeasteye #usa #Gaza #resistance #fuckisrael #freepalestine
