The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC), representing more than 3 million workers, announced on October 28 that its Canadian Council had backed a resolution calling on workers to refuse to handle weapons and military equipment destined for Israel amid the genocide in Gaza. The organization also urged the Canadian government to end all direct and indirect arms transfers to Israel, expressing solidarity with Palestinian workers and their families and calling for the protection of civilian lives and respect for international law.
